Building an SMB platform for Amex

Brand Networks partnered with American Express to build a one-of-a-kind niche social network designed specifically for small business cardholders.

American Express small business unit looked to build a niche web experience to attract small business card holders and promote products to potential card holders through long-form content.

Built and maintains Amex Business Class, a platform that services tens of thousands of small business owners, allowing Amex to identify and advertise to potential customers.
Results
The platform gained traction quickly, with users sharing insightful knowledge on the forum and engaging in conversations. After sparking widespread adoption, during its peak, the community forum and content hub saw an average of 1,600 hourly page views and nearly a dozen users per minute with 80k+ unique monthly small business visitors. It also became Amex’s number one source for new card activations.
